Profile
Dr Martin Harb is a Visiting Medical Officer Gastroenterologist at Liverpool Hospital, providing general gastroenterology and advanced therapeutic endoscopy services.
Dr Harb obtained his medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 2015 and a Masters of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) from the University of Sydney in 2018. He completed his Gastroenterology Advanced Training at Liverpool Hospital and Concord Hospital. In 2023, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He holds Australian Conjoint Committee accreditation in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, ERCP and EUS.
After completing his Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at Liverpool Hospital in 2024, Dr Harb undertook a 12-month Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship at the internationally renowned St Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Canada in 2025. Here he underwent further training in Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection and Third Space Endoscopy (POEM, Z-POEM), complex ERCP and cholangioscopy, therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound applications and balloon enteroscopy.
Alongside his diverse clinical interests spanning across gastroenterological and hepatological disorders, he is equally passionate about medical education and mentorship for medical students and junior medical officers.
