Our state-of-the-art Endoscopy Unit, located on Level 2 of the Clinical Building of Liverpool Hospital, offers endoscopy services for the diagnosis and treatment of many gastrointestinal diseases.
Our specialists are highly trained in all aspects of endoscopy. The NSW Endoscopy Information System – ProVation, is used to document all procedures. Procedures available include:
- Diagnostic and therapeutic Gastroscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Polypectomy
- Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) feeding tube insertion
- Upper and Lower Gastrointestinal (GI) tract dilation and stenting
- Bronchoscopy and Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) is supported by specialists from the Department of Respiratory Medicine
